I haven't written on this blog for a while now. And now, I can't but write. This is one such news which would better be in a blog named, 'World I Hate to See'. I am talking about Ruchika Girhotra molestation and suicide case.

26/11 - Aftermath

Internal-

The most important effect of 26/11 on Indian government is to awaken it to the threat's of terrorism in India. To understand how unconcerned Indian governments have been, we just need to look at a single statistic - after 2004, there have been more fatal causalities to terrorist acts in India than any other country in the world except Iraq. So, India is safer than war zone, great!!!

Theoretically, Officially

Consider this, an Indian official gave a statement saying that India's tour of Pakistan scheduled for 2009 Jan might be scrapped because of the security situation. He went on to say that not a scratch can be tolerated on a player like Sachin Tendulkar. So what about the rest of the squad question people of our eminent press? A very irresponsible comment if you ask them. Well it is a irresponsible comment, but not as irresponsible as what our press has become.

India Burning

We have black marks in history like Babri Masjid demolition, Godhra train burning and post Godhra genocide in Gujarat. As long as acts by Islamic fundamentalists can find their origin and support from across the border, I do not feel ashamed of my country men. But it can be argued (and truly so) that the wide spread and frequent and coordinated acts of terror such as we have witnessed so far in 2008 are not possible without internal support.

2 nd Test India vs Australia - Sydney 2008

"about 2nd Test India vs Australia - Sydney 2008, inspired by Mr.Malcom Speeds comments"

I did not watch the 5Th day of the test match as I thought the test is heading towards a draw. After the Simmonds multiple survival (he must love Bucknor~Benson) in 1st innings we fought back valiantly. Then there was the Ponting's wicket which the "capable" umpires ensured safe in the second innings.
